I've shot professionally for over a decade, I am just coming back after taking a few years off from shooting professionally. Some of you may know me by Bryan Christopher. Well, I'm back and I'm looking to out-do everything I have done before. For those of you that have worked with me know that I have a really laid back shooting style. In the past I've shot for you, now I want you to shoot for ME.
I want to shoot a mash up of everything I love, from the über artsy to the super sexy. My style is all over the place and I want to take advantage of it. I'm weird, eclectic, can be shy and nervous. I have zero confidence in my abilities. But, I know how to create. I'm a geek. I love taking photos.
I'm calling my new venture GRAVITY partly because I am a geek and the loose definition of gravity is: the force that attracts a body towards it's center, or toward any other physical body. Photography is my center and creating images that attract people to them is my goal.
Seeking experienced and newbies, I am simply just looking to create images that make people stop and go WOW!!!!!!! I feel that I haven't done it yet and I believe with the right model it can be done. Don't be shy, don't be nervous I want that crazy all out attitude.
I don't generally set up shoots overnight (though there's always the exception) and like to take a little bit of time establishing what we're looking to accomplish. It just makes for a better shoot.
I've always wanted to "say" something with my photography and like I said with the right team it can be done. Bring your ideas, a crazy go for broke attitude and we'll create something amazing!
TFP/CD or not to TFP/CD, that is the question.
Here is the answer: I only shoot TFP/CD. If I have a paying project or job then you will have that opportunity as well. Chances are I'm not going to offer a paid shoot to someone I have never worked with. Designers tend to select their own models although accept recommendations. How can I recommend you if I've never worked with you? Unless your portfolio is stellar and I MUST have you shoots are TFP/CD but I will probably email you and say just that, "hey, your portfolio is stellar I have to shoot with you WHAT ARE YOUR RATES?" Unless I ask that I'm assuming TFP/CD. From their it's your choice.
If I've friend requested, I'd like to work with you. I'll reach out two or three times if you respond with interest but that's it, I'm not hunting people down.
CreditsI take photos, with my camera. I never click and tell, it's just rude.
Although, my photos have been known to be published now and again.
