Eric GuntherPhotographer Male MCHENRY, Illinois, US
Mayhem # 319
Well, I've done fairly well as a photographer so far. There's really nothing else I'd rather be doing. I believe very much in taking on projects, large or small, as a group effort. I'm always looking for people to work with. MUAs (plus hairstylist), Designers, Set stylists, Clothing stylist, and of course Models.

Eric Gunther is a forth generation photographer. At age eighteen Eric met his match when he assisted for a local fashion photographer who shared his quest for creating the perfect lighting. After a year of assisting and managing quite possibly the largest intern program in the history of Chicago photo studios, he started taking his own commercial fashion clients. The rest is history. Currently Eric focuses on portraiture (including actor headshots), commercial fashion and innerwear.
"Shooting with Eric and his team is a pure delight. Working in an atmosphere both relaxed and productive, not a moment is wasted. Eric combines a strong personal vision with a collaborative impulse that draws on the talents and strengths of all involved. The finished shots are both surprising and satisfying, thoughtful, fun and always impeccably composed."
"Gunth has such an eye for color. The gels, the backdrops, the lighting all play such a pivotal role and Eric always has them perfect."
-Gabriel, make-up artist / hair stylist
"Eric is amazing. It is hard to find a photographer you trust, but Eric was totally professional and made me feel comfortable throughout the entire process. His creative eye and love for what he does is visible in every shot."
"What can I say; I often forget that Eric’s a photographer. He’s got a refreshing sense of humor, yet always professional; he’s reliable, modest, and more than generous. The atmosphere in his studio is better than most parties I’ve been to, he’s the only perfectionist I know that can get things finished (in multiples), and he’s surrounded himself with a fantastic staff of professionals."
-Logan Ross, first assistant
"I have never gotten my picture taken professionally before, so I was nervous. But the studio provided a friendly, comfortable atmosphere and Eric was cracking up jokes the whole time! I got so many compliments, some said I looked like Zorro, I heard Antonio Banderas too."
"My experiences with Eric have been very positive and professional. His relaxed nature and guidance made me feel very comfortable with my surrounding environment. I would recommend him to anyone looking for excellence in a photo shoot."
