About Me

Love, Paris is a luxury brand that focuses on creating bold and timeless works of art. As a designer, Paris admires the bold & artistic creations of Colleen Atwood, the elegant & timeless work of Gabrielle 'Coco' Chanel & the sophistication of the Love inspired world of Lanvin. Love, Paris' work exemplifies this inspiration.

Paris Monagan, CEO & lead designer of Love, Paris, was born on December 12, 1985 in Chicago, Illinois. She grew up right outside of Chicago in the historic town of Oak Park. Being surrounded by the architecture and interior designs of Frank Lloyd Wright, Paris became fascinated with all forms of art. At a young age she took an interest in watching her mother create garments from scratch. By the age of 12 Paris used her first sewing machine, and hasn't stopped since.

Her first fashion show was in high school, followed by the design of her prom dress and ultimately that creation of her high school graduation dress. After graduation, Paris’ parents approached her with the idea of studying fashion design in Great Britain, and with motivation… she was on her way to the UK.

Her first two weeks were the hardest. She had never left the United States and had to learn to adapt to a new culture. She attended Kent Institute of Art & Design (now known as UCCA), her first year, and attained her Foundations of Art & Design Diploma. Year two Paris transferred to Nottingham Trent University where she studied Fashion Design. She interned with Italian menswear designer, Carlos Campos, for New York's Fashion Week. In 2013, Paris decided that it was now or never, thus her brand Love, Paris was born.

In July 2013 Love, Paris debuted her skirt line at Lacuna Lofts in Chicago, IL. The models wore only skirts, with body paint by well known artist, Hebru Brantley and the model lineup included one of America’s Next Top Model’s, from season 20. This show had an unexpectedly overwhelming turnout. In December 2013, the jacket line debuted at Chicago's Hard Rock Hotel, on Michigan Ave. In addition to fashion shows, you can also find Love, Paris designs on anyone from execs at Fortune 500 companies to athletes at the Espy’s.

Paris also believes in the importance of community involvement, inspiring others and giving back. She has volunteered with the Glass Slipper Project by assisting underprivileged girls with finding prom dresses as well as the Heart of Man Project by aiding in the growth of a foundation created for empowering todays youth and more recently volunteered with the Carlos Dunlap Foundation's movie premiere event in Cincinnati.
