BACKGROUND
Marianne Cheesecake is an international burlesque performer with a name that brings smiles and sudden cravings for dessert. A forbidden treat, she is not only elegant eye candy but also the embodiment of provocation and humour. Bringing the finest traditional burlesque to the menu, she offers a unique selection of sweet and saucy routines that tease and tantalise the human senses.
Born and raised in Canada with origins from Hong Kong, Marianne Cheesecake is a special delicacy that appeals to a wide variety of palates. Inspired by popular silver screen stars, Marianne personifies the loveable sweetheart in Betty Grable and the exotic wonder in Anna May Wong. A classically trained performer with over 10 years of experience in theatre with a specialisation in creative movement, Marianne combines dance choreography, creative movement, and even Tai Chi to ensure that all her shows are performed with poise and grace. Showcasing bite-sized recreations of silent films and old Hollywood classics, Marianne indulges the audience with her delectable style, glamorous vintage wear, and entertaining storylines.
Marianne Cheesecake is a resident performer at Volupté Lounge, London’s most decadent little supper club. Marianne has also graced a number of reputable venues in the UK including The Bloomsbury Ballroom, The Bongo Club, Bush Hall, Café de Paris, The Comedy Store, The Glee Club, Komedia, Leicester Square Theatre, Madame Jo Jo’s, The Pigalle Club, and 33 Portland Place (Historic Residence of Lord Edward Davenport).
Appearing at the most exciting events, Marianne has entertained audiences at the Henley Royal Regatta, The Kills After-Show Party/Eurostar, Soulwax/2 Many DJs, Macmillan Cancer Support Charity Benefit, Ace Cafe London Reunion, and Gok Wan Lingerie Launch Party.
Internationally, Marianne has performed at numerous events and in renowned venues, such as The Tassel Club (Dublin), Connie Douglas (Milan), and Paradiso (Amsterdam). She has also showcased at the Edinburgh Festival (2005) and recently featured in the international line-up at the 1st Annual Montreal Burlesque Festival (2009).
Marianne Cheesecake is listed regularly in Time Out, and has been featured in the UK press, such as London Lite. Also, she has appeared in international magazines such as Playboy France (December 2008/January 2009) and That’s Shanghai (January 2009).
Marianne Cheesecake currently lives in London and performs in the UK and internationally.

MODELLING GOALS
Marianne loves to pose for pin-up photography. However, she is a versatile model who is open to posing for a wider range of photographic concepts. Marianne is interested in collaborating with creative and professional photographers who have a tasteful style and can produce high quality images.
Marianne has a diverse collection of fancy items that have helped many photographers add something unique to their photos (e.g. jewelry, lingerie, stockings, hats, dresses, vintage shoes, feathered fans, parasols, masks, etc.)

TFCD
TFCD is limited to new photographers and offered to those who have exceptional work and can add something new to her portfolio.
COMMUNICATION
Marianne values good communication with photographers. Please contact Marianne only if you are serious about working with her and have a specific project and date in mind. No timewasters.
