About Me

I began spinning fire approximately seven months ago in Portland Maine, where I was introduced to the flow arts. When I realized I the potential I had in this art I rapidly expanded my abilities by practicing as much as I possibly could with the many performance props I use today. My first and most favored prop is the levitation wand, an old magicians trick that has been upgraded with fire. My first performance took place on a Friday night in a downtown area in Portland known as Tommy's park. There was an audience of about 30 people that had been strolling around downtown and decided to watch the show. After hearing their applause when I finished my act I immediately fell in love with performing for people and quickly moved on to be a paid performer, spinning at festivals such as great north arts and music festival while beats antique played, and Harry Brown's harvest festival.

I am self employed as a jeweler, sculptor, and flow artist. I spend my days practicing acrobatics, spinning fire, and making all kinds of jewelry which I then sell to local stores. I hope to one day be known for.my performances and to open a school, camp, or studio where anyone can learn and practice any art they desire as well as have the materials they need provided for them. My next goal is to become an aerial silk artist and incorporate that with fire spinning. Secondary to that goal is Eliminating grading systems in art schools and programs. I mean really, how are you going to tell someone something they created is a failure?
