it is always a good thing to positively contribute to a portfolio and work with talented models to produce interesting and creative pieces of art. My goal is to make you look at good as possible. If I succeed then I have done my job.

Many of my photos have been found in corporate brochures and event websites. Several have won international photography contests.
Prices are negotiable. TFP is always an option for experienced models and for projects that make a significant contribution to the portfolio.
I tend to take lots of photos as I invest in more time per session. I like having choices. A session may have 10-15 different looks rather than just 2 or 3, as is the norm. Some models end up with 100+ unique photos, edited, and ready to use for print or social media usage. Try finding one photographer on the planet who will do that for you.
All projects are mutually creative processes so I truly appreciate models who have creative ideas. Collaboration is key.
I am an educator, playwright (Pulitzer prize nominated.. try finding an MM photographer with a Pulitzer nomination.. ha!), conference organizer (code for loves to travel), artist and photographer. I have been recognized in every creative endeavor I have done. I take this stuff very seriously.
I tend to photo in the following places: Central Valley of California, San Francisco, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Lake Tahoe, Reno. I will reach out to San Diego IF I MUST!
My viewpoint on model 'escorts' is well summarized in this article:
My point: I do not allow escorts for any reason. Escorts are used by beginners in this industry. Escorts are more dangerous than photographers, so the use of them tends to indicate problems ahead. 100% of my shoots with escorts have resulted in theft, extreme interference and delays. It is always a boyfriend, fiancé or husband and they cannot handle photo shoots. They never stay out of the way. Next time you go to your dentist ask if you can have an escort. I will give you the same answer as they will. An 'escort' can visit the location and 'give the ok' but they must leave until the shoot is over. Debate this and the shoot is cancelled on the spot.
I have a photo that is a finalist for the Phi Kappa Phi best graduation photo contest. I have won many gold medals on Flickr photo contests with abstract and architectural photos.

--- "Edward is an amazing photographer and person in general. One of the most relaxed shoots I've been in and one of the most fun in such a beautiful hotel room. As soon as I got there he had makeup and bottled water ready for me which im not used to photographers going out of their way for things like that. Loved each set we did and he had such a creative mind. Highly recommended photographer!" Angela Mazzanti (MM# 2616340)
