Over the past decade, Fiona has worked as a full-time stylist at one of Winnipeg’s premier salons, where she filled the roles of Bumble and Bumble network educator, staff trainer, and senior photographer for salon photo shoots and advertising. Fiona’s personal training includes cutting and colouring classes at Toronto’s Vidal Sassoon Academy and Bumble and Bumble’s Hair University in New York, where she had the privilege of working directly with Bumble and Bumble’s artistic director, Howard McLaren, on editorial styling and photography. In 2011, Fiona left the cozy confines of Winnipeg for an adventure on the other side of the world, working as a stylist on trendy Bondi Beach in Sydney, Australia. Since returning to Canada, Fiona has worked as on-set stylist for a television series, and as one half of freelance duo TopKnot, an experience that has allowed Fiona to focus primarily on styling hair for headshots, weddings, and other special events. As a new transplant to Vancouver, Fiona is excited to bring her creative flair and imagination to the west coast.
