Hola World o' Mayhem, thanks for checkin out my virtual modeling digs. I am one tough son of a bitch to get in touch with...though I do try to keep up with messages left here. Like most other girls, I couldn't eat if I relied on Model Mayhem to get my gigs. Since this site really isn't "where it's at" for working models, I suggest everyone use it for what its actually here for: wasting time, self indulgence, snatching inspiration from better models/photographers, and I'll say it: TFP. It would be nice if these popularized sites actually yielded an abundance of paid work (and I'll admit I have gotten several paid gigs from the likes of this and others) but they really aren't streamlined for such commerce, shame as it is. As a model, MM is sort of like fishing for dates on Craigslist--since you feel embarrassed to admit it you probably shouldn't do it. So get on over to a real agency and tell that has-been, couldn't cut it as a model agent to get to work. Bonus point, your agency is responsible for your ass so you get to leave your overbearing frat boy boyfriend at home with your cat and not waste your time (or the photographers time) at shoots.
So instead of stating my hourly fee and limitations on nudity let me just say this... Ask away. Like a good hair dresser, I've been doing this long enough to know how to play the game. If your portfolio doesn't knock me on my ass chances are, I'll charge you to work together! Especially since you crappy photographers always ask me to get naked. Yes I know that’s how to get the comments, but vagina lips don't constitute quality to real artists.
Like Victoria Beckham, I hate letting other people have all my fun with styling wardrobe. Send me some ideas I'll send you over pictures of wardrobe options before I come (my closet could clothe a small nation). If you don't want to collaborate and create art together, don't waste my time. If it gets to the day of the shoot and all you have told me is "bring whatever" I'll show up with my mothers collection of christmas sweaters and really put your talents to work.
Looking forward to future fun with (some of) of you...hope to hear from you soon
