I'm Nicholas Taylor, a photographer based in Seattle, Washington. I'm here on Model Mayhem to find new talent, new collaborators and generally new partners-in-crime to create great images with. Shooting with a great model, combining that with an interesting location, adding lighting and creating something unique and compelling is a hell of a buzz. A frozen sliver of a moment. And that's what I get from doing this. I've been published and have exhibited my photographic prints in a variety of shows across the country, which has allowed me to realize that it is the shoot and the delivery of great images which drives me.
models?
The TFP question? Testing keeps me sharp and trying new stuff - so absolutely yes I do shoot TFP. No, not with anybody and everybody. If I do offer it will mean we are shooting what I want to shoot.
You want me to shoot "classy" shots of you looking pretty ... then pay me, offer to shoot whatever I want with you or give me a very good reason to not get paid shooting someone else.
My half-day rate is $400 for a four hour shoot.
booking fee?
"Something just came up." "My dog died." "BF won't let me use the truck"? "My grandmother died. Again." There's too many time-wasters out there. Sadly though my spidey-sense is good, I don't know who will or won't flake.
I will not schedule you until you've given me a booking fee of $100 by Paypal. (For TFP, I'll give you your $100 back when we shoot. For a paid shoot I subtract it off the shoot fee.)
