Welcome to Model Mayhem, Lexe!
Keep in mind that your profile can
be seen by EVERYONE in the world,
including those with bad intentions!
For that reason, because your location
is tiny, it would be too easy for them
to locate you! Therefore, it would be
safer to list yourself as in a nearby
larger city, such as St. Thomas. The
same goes for the location listed
on some of your portfolio photos.
To choose a profile photo, (called
an Avatar) go to My Stuff, Manage
Photos, and, beside the shot you
want to use, click Set As Avatar.
When the "crop" option comes up
don't click the photo, just hit "Skip".
For future, keep in mind that photos
marked "M" can not be used as Avatars!
Until you are 18, be sure your parents
are fully involved, and present at all
meetings & shoots! Only they, legally,
can sign the required releases/contracts.
Be sure all shoots are age-appropriate.
Avoid those wanting to shoot otherwise.
Beware of people too urgently wanting
your email right at the start! Red flag!
