About Me

For several years my professional background had been centered around the federal government. However, fashion has always been a great love of mine. I have been the go to for my family, friends, and colleagues when in need of style advice. In 2007 I attempted to became a freelance personal stylist and started to dibble and dabble in the fashion industry. I quickly found out I needed a little more education when it came to being a stylist. I enrolled in the Fashion Retail Management program at the Art Institute of Washington. There I was able to hone my skills and get a true feel for the fashion industry. With that knowledge and continuing my education at the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) in New York and the School of Style stylist programs I launched my career.

Since completing my education I have worked with clients throughout DC, NY and LA. I have styled and assisted on agency represented model shoots, magazine spreads, ad campaigns, e-commerce shoots and several fashion shows for fashion weeks. I am also the owner and contributor for fashion, beauty and lifestyle blog Clutch Your Closet.
