Hi, I'm Jeff.

I'm a portrait/ figure artist looking to collaborate in Los Angeles. I typically want to meet for a quick interview in a coffee shop, then head out for an impromptu shoot. I'm inspired by personality, that "light" in your eyes that will come out in the painting.

TFP (Or, "time for drawing", if you prefer). I paint figurative work in oils, but will do a couple of sketches and charcoal drawings in preparation beforehand. Drawings will be signed and dated. For TFP, see a selection of shots I've done here:

Here's a quick Bio:
Jeff's art delves into the intimate, romantic connections we have with the ordinary visual experience. His paintings often reconstruct the artifacts in photography not seen in real life, yet they remain an impressionistic style of paint application. He strives to connect with pure emotions in a confident painterly manner, imbuing any subject with the happiness of pure living.

Born in New York and raised in California, Jeff has grown to love movement and as has traveled through Europe while working as a scientific illustrator. After a brief stint working as a production designer in LA, Jeff made the transition to professional artist in 2013.
