boring resume information....blah blah blah
66styles :: The same as Style Eye but with a snazzy new name!
Style Eye :: Freelance Hair/Makeup/Stylist 2000 - Present
With a keen eye for fashion and sub/culture, I use all of my creative resources to make beautiful images that are inspiring and provocative. In 2003, my hair/makeup/styling/art direction work was featured in RockrGrl Magazine, winning an award for best photo. In 2006, Sound Magazine recognized me for my hair/makeup & styling work with bands.
M.A.C. Cosmetics :: Senior Trainer/International 1991 - 1999
In my nine-year tenure at this cutting edge cosmetics company, I went from a part time Technical Artist responsible for three locations to a vast territory that included all of English speaking North America and Europe. My responsibilities included artist training and education, curriculum development, employee development, public seminars, and fashion show execution. I had a team of trainers for which I was directly responsible and over 70 artists who depended on me for training, education and role modeling. Because of my far-reaching responsibilities, I learned a lot about team building, delegating, multi-tasking and how to live out of a suitcase.
D.D. Photography ::
Studio Manager and On Staff Hair/Makeup/Styling 1992 - 1994
In this diverse job adventure, I was able to exercise my ability to “do the Math” and be creative. I was responsible for general office duties as well as accounts payable/receivable, estimates, location scouting, talent booking, travel arrangements, production and art direction. With clients such as Franklin Covey, ZCMI and ProForm Sporting Goods, I happily thrived on a wide variety of tasks; food styling, propping, set design & building, hair, makeup and wardrobe. During this time, I gained a basic knowledge of photography, lighting, and photo composition. I left this position to be available full time for M.A.C. Cosmetics.
