I have been a professional photographer for nearly 30 years. While working full-time as a staff photographer for a major regional newspaper, I have always made my own more personal photographs as well. I have a master's degree in photography.

My interests are varied but I've shot lots of fashion, portraits, nudes, food, professional sports, landscape and nature photography. I also shoot and edit video. While I enjoy working as a team with hair and makeup artists, I have also worked individually with models who are able to do their own hair, makeup and clothes styling. Some shots require very little hair and makeup.

I have recently moved to North Carolina with my wife and am looking for a couple of models to work with. I especially want to shoot in some of the abandoned farms, homes and tobacco warehouses I've seen in the area. i also love shooting in the forest. Will trade prints/digital files for your time. In some cases, if fine art nudes are involved, I would consider paying you for your time. My goal is to make interesting and compelling portraits in cool locations.

You should be enthusiastic and have a sense of adventure. I don't care if you are experienced or not but I am interested in women with a unique look. People with interesting features, beautiful eyes, shaved head, really curly hair, ethnic, totally tattooed or none at all. In other words, classical beauty is NOT required.

My subjects say I am adept at quickly putting them at ease. I would be happy to provide you with several references from models I have worked with, none of whom I have met through MM as I'm brand new to the site. You would be welcome to bring along a friend too. I am someone who wishes to collaborate and I expect if not insist that you have creative ideas of your own. I'm an accomplished photographer who will provide you with some great additions to your portfolio. I really shoot for the LOVE of photography and art. No tacky pictures.
