Raven Jané, born and raised from Chicago Heights, IL, started her modeling career in Jackson, Mississippi. She moved to Jackson, Mississippi for school to major in Graphic Design at Jackson State University. She wanted to play Volleyball, but wasn't able to walk on, because she didn't acquire a sport's scholarship because the coach at the time didn't believe in her enough to take a chance. So Raven created her own existence, that she is more lenient towards anyway. Marissa Simms, Royal Bleau Boutique owner, started Raven's modeling career with Royal Bleau
Girls Group. After that, Raven Jané started networking and working with a lot of photographers and working with plenty of models. She made a choice, after her second year of completion in school, to take off to focus on her career. Raven Jané has participated in Beautiful You Fashion Tour in Atlanta, Art of the Walk Fashion Show, Pink the Runway, Akeiba Kashona Fashion Show, Rock the Runway, Royal Bleau Boutique Fashion and Mississippi Fashion Week. Her grandmother, who also was a model in Jet Magazine, started her at a young age, but she was too focus on playing Volleyball. As a child, television shows like America Next Top Model intrigued her as it gave her a new perspective of becoming a model. Raven Jané has been modeling for only three years with accomplishments like print, fashion shows, became a Social Life model in Baton Rouge, progressing her to have the opportunity to do a calendar shoot with them as well. She officially has a branding coach now, Mitch C. Davis, who has been apart of her life helping her brand and expand her career further more. April 10th, 2016 was the day she crossed over to become a businesswoman, spokesmodel, and role model. From her style, the way she dressed and how she speaks will make her more impactful as a forward, innovative model. She moved to Atlanta, Ga to continue to initiate her future goals in life and is willing to take any positive risk to overcome her obstacles of becoming more than just a model, while being a example to help the future leaders make positive choices.
