WE ARE BACK!
The OMG Summer 2009 Event is scheduled for July 11 from 2-9pm at Club 23. (At 9 the club will open to the public) Due to the service of alcohol, this is an 18+ event. 21+ to stay past 9pm. NO CHARGE FOR ATTENDANCE IF YOU ARRIVE PRIOR TO 9PM. (Booze is at your own cost...)
This year we are sponsored by Harmon Photo, Slate, Five Star Graphics and Club 23.
Photographers, Models, MUAs, Stylists - come prepared with proof that you are part of the community! (Business card, comp card, portfolio, MM ID #, etc.) The general public will be turned away!

Hi Walker,
Thanks for the nice comment. To let you in on a secret, that "umbrella halo" was actually not even supposed to be there. That was one of our blooper shots. Behind me is actually one of the stylists holding up an umbrella because too much light was coming in that direction. Turned out to be the best picture of that entire photoshoot.
I don't know why, but all of my "blooper" photos turn out the best. Hehe.

The Summer OMG is coming up soon (Saturday, July 12th). We'll be at the ‘Cruises Only’ building located near the intersection of Colonial Dr (50) and N Mills Ave. The event is in the blue building attached to the 5 story building. Check this profiles' photos for an aerial map.
Bring your book or portfolio, with your name on it! Showing others your work is a great way to break the ice and introduce yourself and your work.
Bring a lawn chair, chair, couch, beanbag as seating in the building will be limited considering the number of attendees we expect (well over 100) and the fact that it is unfinished interior space.
We will have areas set up to shoot and areas where you can set up to shoot… lighting will be limited so if you have your own gear it is recommended you bring it to shoot with.
Alcohol is not allowed in the building.
If you want to shoot that day, I highly suggest going through the list of attendees and contacting parties with whom you'd like to work and scheduling a shoot time or two.

OMG! We're just a little over a month away from the SUNDAY, APRIL 20TH ORLANDO MEET & GREET at WEKIWA SPRINGS STATE PARK in Longwood.
We're going to be out there from 8 a.m. to sunset in the Live Oak pavilion. On top of networking and shooting, we'll be grilling up and having a bit of a good old fashioned pot luck, so feel free to bring a little something to share.

The Orlando Meet and Greet is finally set in stone!
We're meeting this Saturday, January 26th starting at Lake Lily Park, 701 Lake Lily Dr., Maitland, FL 32751 at 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. for shooting, and then we will then be adjourning to stuff our faces and relax and get to know each other better at Tolla's Italian Cafe from 6-8. It's on Pennsylvania just off Morse, 3 or 4 blocks from 17-92.
Also, if you have some old costumes/clothing/shoes, etc that you'd like the swap out, bring it on over. Several of the models and photographers are ditching items from their wardrobes and are looking to do some trading.

after seeing the art that you and Mistress Simone created... im enamoured with your style! She looks quite fetching, per usual, but Her expressions were different and i loved the colour play...

SYLVANIA, Ala. - A woman who went for a horseback ride through town at midnight and allegedly used the horse to ram a police car was charged with driving under the influence and drug offenses, police said Tuesday.
Police Chief Brad Gregg said DUI charges can apply even when the vehicle has four legs instead of wheels. After ramming the police car with the horse and riding away, the woman tried to jump off but caught her foot in a stirrup (How do you ram a police car with a horse????)
However, if you happen to be in New Jersey and you're tipsy, you CAN drive a zamboni home:
NEWARK, N.J. - It’s not drunken driving in New Jersey if it involves a Zamboni.
A judge ruled the four-ton ice rink-grooming machines aren’t motor vehicles because they aren’t useable on highways and can’t carry passengers.
Zamboni operator John Peragallo had been charged with drunken driving in 2005 after a fellow employee at the Mennen Sports Arena in Morristown told police the machine was speeding and nearly crashed into the boards
