Sherrella La Bella not just a girl with a big butt and a smile. She is one of DC’s household names in the clubs, on the radio, on flyers, in videos, Magazines, and even on the hottest blog sites. She hasn’t always had this much popularity on the DMV Entertainment scene.
Sherrella started out as an amateur runway plus size Model with hopes and dreams of one day gracing the covers of all of the most popular urban Magazines. With the help of some of DC’s prominent folks in the industry she’s became closer and closer to her vision.
After realizing that gracing the local Runway shows wasn’t as satisfying as seemed in the beginning, she began in search of something else from the industry, the club scene.
Sherrella began to promote for a well-known company in the DMV Midi-East in early 2007, no sooner after proving her loyalty to the company, she then was promoted to Assistant to the CEO Text Sosa.
Shortly after becoming the Assistant, she started to produce Fashion Events, providing Models to the local DMV Artist for Promotional work, videos, photo shoots, and live performances. Sherrella became known for providing Models to the Industry and from the shows she put on in conjunction with Midi-East.
Ms. La Bella was still in search of something to call her own. So she left the nest and started her own company, HoneyComb Set. The popularity from her earlier days promoting for Midi-East continued with the new beginning of this all-female Promotional & Marketing Company.
The launching of the new company was very important and had to be done very strategically. The fame and work came faster than expected when she first announced the company to the scene. It was something that she had been cooking up but just didn't know how to launch and when she received the answer she immediately begun promoting it and putting the bug in everyone’s ear.
