I am a Go Go dancer and hoop performer in Austin, TX with an eye for color and a laid back personality. I take direction well and don't get offended easily by suggestion or direction during a shoot. My goal is to combine equal forces of creativity to birth amazing imagery to awe and inspire. I LOVE when the photographer has an idea for a shoot that we can brain storm together on, and end up creating something incredible. I prefer my photographers to do more than just point and click, as some seem to think is all they are there for. Creativity is key and I would love to work with you.
I'm very bright and colorful when left to my own devices, but I can easily blend in with other types of shoots given prior notice. I enjoy the darker side of things as well, though I don't have many darker photos to show for it. I have a bridge piercing (between my eyes) and a septum piercing that aren't removed for obvious reasons. Different jewelery can be purchased for the set if needed, but they don't do well when removed for longer periods of time (not to mention they look quite funny without a barbell in them).
I currently have blonde dreadlocks with random beads in them. I used to have green/blue dyed hair for the past few years but this is a recent development. My hair can be pulled back to look quite elegant, and my dreads are in no way un-tamed and messy as probably comes to mind.
I'm a go go dancer when I'm not working my day job, as I mentioned earlier. I make custom themed costumes for each gig I am booked to dance for highly respected DJs and crews in Austin, TX. I pride myself in my creativity and ability to brain storm given a subject or even minor idea. I can create costumes whenever needed, given prior notice and time to do so. So if you have an idea for a costumed model, definitely contact me.
I am sponsored by Prohibition, which makes the UV reactive armor you see in a couple of my photos. I have a few different bra tops of the kind in my portfolio, and can bring black lights to the shoot to light things up a bit. I am quite interested in black light photography, but keep in mind you will need a steady hand to get a shot without it blurring. Your camera should have a quick shutter speed to capture the image without it blurring, if you are interested.
::: MY FREE TIME :::
I have weds, fri, sat off. Weds I am free most of the day, friday I am free up until about 7pm, and saturdays I am free from about noon - 7pm depending on how late my gogo dancing kept me up on friday. If a night shoot is something we're aiming for, contact me and we can work something out.
::: CREATIVITY :::
I need some creativity... Although I am able to hop in front of a camera and create with poses, outfits, etc... I do prefer a photographer to contact me with an idea in mind. If no ideas in mind, please let me know what kind of props, colors, themes, or stories you have in mind. I can work with ANYTHING and customize it to create fun and colorful images! With that said, PLEASE do not contact me by simply stating that you want to shoot. I would prefer some motivation to want to work with you other than your portfolio!
::: MY LIMITATIONS :::
I will not show more skin than wearing a bra and dance shorts. I have done implied photos in the past, such as the first photo in this portfolio in black and white. I am not interested in doing any nude photos. Sorry!
