Luca Maci was born in Sicily on 19 September 1977.
His path in the world of photography begins with a self-taught approach.
He starts to frequent several portrait workshops, but he prefers to create his own style reading photography books of great photographers.
His inspiration are Richard Avedon, Jeanloup Sieff and Giovanni Gastel.
He starts to work in photographic studios as photographer assistant. In 2010 he decides to start his own path as photographer opening his own activity.
He worked many years as wedding photographer, where the feeling with the subjects is particularly important.
His style, simple and at the same time elegant, is his peculiarities.
His passion for fashion photography and portraits becomes stronger.
He starts collaborating at international fashion events. He took part to the worldwide final of the "LOOK OF THE YEAR" in 2015 as official photographer.
He decides to transfer to Milan for a while to improve his photographic culture and his personal fashion vision. Here he starts to cooperate with many affirmed fashion designers and experts in the sector, creating international editorials that can be found not only on italian fashions magazines but also american, english and french.
He works almost everywhere, taking care, mostly of fashion, advertorial and also wedding photography.
