I'm 22 and in my second year at the Academy of Art University. I'm looking to build up my portfolio with a variety of work. I do casual to themed shoots and everything else in between. I'm also trying to focus my efforts into a series of documentary/essay photo projects. Right now I'm looking for subjects to follow and shoot in their "every day life." If you would be interested in taking part of it, just let me know.
Due to my busy schedule and numerous requests for shoots, I've decided to focus on select TFP/TFCD work and paid work only.
I mainly focus on SELECT TFCD work (models that are recommended to me, people that I've worked with in the past, and models that I feel my portfolio would benefit from). Otherwise, paid work only. Feel free to ask if you would qualify for TFCD or ask for rates! (My rates are low, and might only end up being traveling expenses depending on the circumstances, so please feel free to get in touch with me to discuss).
Willing to travel and shoot anywhere in Northern California, and ocassionally travel to Southern California so if you're in SoCal and want to work together, contact me and I'll let you know when I'll next be traveling down south. (:
My only restiction/rule is that I only do on-location shoots, as I feel that a studio only limits creative thinking.
I enjoy doing less previsualized work and just going with the flow of the location, but I also have ideas for photoshoots in mind and if you come with your own I'd be more than glad to work with you on it!
When contacting me let me know what style/type of photos you're interested in, and even a little background on yourself would be a great way to get started!

P.S. I strongly feel that creative pictures need the effort of both the person behind the camera and the person in front of it. People always have their own ideas for how to pose, but often I will come in with ideas of my own. It's usually a combination. However, even if someone is posing at a decent pace, there's nothing more frustrating than an uninspired model who gives no feedback about how things are feeling and working. The best photoshoots, like any artistsic collaboration, are the ones where it feels like everyone has some input.
MAKEUP/HAIR/CLOTHES STYLIST: I currently don't have anyone to work with, so I'm on the look out for someone to test/shoot for. If you'd like to work on photoshoots together and get images of your work in return, lets get in touch!
