Hi, Ok so Fashion and Art photography is what I do.
A little about me: 23, Student (doing a PhD at Edinburgh Uni), 5 years experience, great gear and a great friendly but hard working attitude to photography and the arts. I took a year break from photography because of my 5th year at uni. I'm also no longer doing press photography, music or events, they are so so so boring

All of my newest Fashion and Art work is on Medium Format Film.
Gives superb colour, superb quality and great depth of field
But means it takes a while to get images processed etc.
Mamiya 645 Medium Format camera with 45mm, 55mm, 80mm and 150mm lenses! Nikon F3 and Nikon D200 for other material.
-------------------------------------------------------------
My aims with Fashion and Art:
The contrasts of life, nature and humanity.
The ideas behind the face or a person.
I aim to produce fresh and professional images,
Create a good professional rapport with a very high standard of work.
One of the most important things is a good working rapport between model and photographer. I am always professional about what I do but also take a light hearted tone, a few breaks throughout the session, a bit of chat, biscuits etc. If everyone in the image process is relaxed then better images are produced.

Please take a moment to take a look at my websites where you can see my current portfolio. I'm also on Facebook if you want to find out more about the guy behind the lens. My website has a large about me section with a large section on my academic interests, my PhD in SPAD imaging sensors and links to various pieces of work and papers.

NEW PROJECTS FOR 2009!
A number of artistic nude projects, tastefully done, with a strong bias away from sexual imagery and focusing more on light, contrast, nature, form, curve and grace of the nude form. Both Males and Females.
I will be incorporating ideas from a number of superb photographers:
Andreas Bitesnich --->

Stephan Soell --->
http://www.stefansoell.de/
waclaw Wantuch --->
http://www.waclawwantuch.com/
I would in particular like to work with a number of acrobats, yoga artists and dancers to include elements of shape and distortion to the artistic nude elements already present.
Anyone wishing to take part is most welcome
Note: I am NOT a guy with camera, I think it should be obvious by my portfolio, my demeanour, my website and the fact I use high grade film rather than low spec digital cameras.

NEW PROJECTS FOR 2010!
Next year I will be taking my painting to a new level by doing location based art nudes using watercolour paints and charcoal sketching.
Current pieces are mostly acrylic based canvas prints.
