TFP's. do i do them? not really. it would all depending on the concept and model. If you are somewhat of an amateur model, i would not shoot tf. Running a photography studio, recording studio, and various websites does not leave much room for tf shoots. Agency Referred Test shoots will come first.
Regarding paying models. as a model, you have to possess some quality that separates you from another model that does not charge. Are there exceptions? Of COURSE!!
Questions i get: you asked me to shoot, is it paid or are you asking if i want to pay you to shoot.
Answer: If i messaged you to shoot, i am not soliciting you for a paid job, unless it is stated in the message. I am not like other photographers who ask you to shoot, only to find out it they want to charge you. Thats sketch.
Rules on Escorts..
For the longest time, i have always allowed escorts because when i got started, i was an escort for a few models, and they appreciated it. But after a while, i can see how much of a pain it is to deal and work with them.
So here are the rules on escorts:
the studio is not really setup to have someone there just observing. most, if not all models tend to act differently when someone else is watching them, especially parents. There are plenty of places down the street that they can go wait. So if you do bring an escort, unless they are doing your makeup, please have them wait outside.
On Location Shoots: escorts are welcomed since i will need an extra hand with equipment, but please make sure that they are not going to be making comments, giving suggestions or acting impatient.
General Rule: no BF's, or overbearing Parents. If you are going to bring a friend, please check with me FIRST before you bring someone that wants to start modeling...
I am open to anything, and hope that by working with me, both of us will benefit mutually. I don't have a style of photography that i am accustom to, but I enjoy mixing different looks within the same shot. A beautiful model using a rundown building, unique wall or a very historic location is my preference for a backdrop.
Just because you don't see a particular type of picture on display does not mean i don't do those types of shots. Ask me and i will let you know if i can do it or not.
