Misty describes herself as an 'ethical' model -- she will not change her appearance for anyone but herself, she is comfortable in her own skin, and she will not adopt an unhealthy lifestyle or eating habits just to fit a stereotypical image of 'beauty' that is, in her opinion, unhealthy in any sense.
Modeling, like any form of art, began as a way of expressing herself and is still true to this day. She's constantly striving for the perfect pictures - the ones everyone else will look at, keep coming back to, and wonder to themselves 'why didn't I do that?'.
