My goal is to make stunning  images that both the model and I like!  I shot in what can be called a fine art style, and with few exceptions, for the most part I only shoot nudes.  sometimes, I do let a little lingerie sneak in, but the style remains the same, fine art. 

As can be seen from my portfolio, I really like to work with lighting, and play heavily on shadows and light. 

Over the years, I have worked in four different studio spaces here in Houston, and have settled on Houston Fotofusion as my current work space.  I am an associate there.  I have a great working relationship at Skyline studios as well.

To distinguish myself from guys with a camera, I have taken many many photographic courses, including formal education in photoraphy at Rice university.  In either a course or academic setting, I have worked with: Bob Warren, Bobby G, Tracey Hicks, San Goldstein, Rolando Gomez, Don Eddy, and Daniel Kramer.

I'm also a bit of a gear head.  I mainly shoot a Mamiya medium format digital these days, although I also have a Nikon D300.  In addition, I shot  4X5 large format film, medium format film, and sometimes 35mm film.

Much of my work is done with artificial lighting, and I am pretty proficient with most types of studio lighting.  Currently I use mostly Alien Bees.  I really enjoy working with natural light, and Houston Fotofusion is great for this.
