For the most part, this site has proven to be most useless. I've yet to meet any reliable artists; mostly a lot of amateurs who take an occasional (and temporary) interest in art work (at least in my local and surrounding area). My use of this site is almost completely restricted to browsing through the vast collection of works for my own inspiration.
I work with both film and digital platforms. When shooting for my own book, I prefer to use natural light when possible, but I also use flash photography quite often. This is usually dependent on the content of the photograph.
I edit all my own work using several tools of software. My turn around for photos is almost always next day, via disc or private link setup online through an FTP client, depending on my client's location. I always shoot in RAW format (for digital), and deliver JPEG to clients.
I do NOT work with extras. You can leave all that "escort" shit at the door. It's a strict policy I've implemented, and it's not up for negotiation. No friends, and no significant others. Professionals only.
The only time that I welcome others onto a shoot, are for contribution only, such as hair & makeup, or wardrobe. Always feel free to bring along a fellow MUA or stylist. I sometimes collaborate with other photographers.
