About Me

I love art in whatever form it might be, and have been finding ways of creating my own self-expression ever since I can remember.  I thought it might be interesting to do just that without being the one behind the sketchbook or camera this time and just kind of want to have fun with all of this.

I'm new to modeling and am looking to develop a portfolio, because as you can see, I only have personal snaps available currently.  I'd like to do a wide variety of images  –  the more diverse, the better!  I'd love to have something that could technically be classified into whatever genre out there, yet at the same time take a particular genre into a different perspective.  I especially would look forward to playing around with crazy concepts, color psychology, different textures, light/shadows and interesting angles.  To get an idea on the look/feel/style of the photos I'm primarily looking to create, some examples could include the work from photographers: Alex Freund, Robert Doisneau, Rikki Kasso; Hakan, Lars Botten, Gilles Toledano; Lithium Picnic Studios.  The photographers mentioned are mostly references for composition and such, not necessarily for the strong sexual theme most possess.  I'm open to nudity, and even mentioned theme, but highly wary of it.  It has to be done right and more often than not I find it too delicate to avoid something like that becoming vulgar.

I’m very open-minded, easy to work with and welcome constructive criticism.  I would really enjoy collaborating with, and learning from, creative, professional photographers/make up artists/hair stylists who like experimenting with new methods and ideas for each creation while I build up my experience and hopefully provide something beneficial in return.

I frequently bounce back and forth between southern and central California and am always looking for new job opportunities.

Few Things to Take Note:

• Unless I happen to be in the area (or vice-versa for the photographer), or I just find the photographer's work to be ultimately exceptional, I strongly prefer to only work within the areas mentioned above.

• Chances greater then not, I will bring a personal assistant to most of my shoots. Especially for out of town shoots, or with photographers that I'll be working with for the first time.  We work together very well, and the person will not be a distraction to me nor will they be a burden at all to you.

• Just so there's no surprises: I have a spinal cord injury, and am unable to walk/stand.  My disability may or may not be an issue, but feel free to discuss with me any concerns you may have.  That said, I am very innovative; I'll more than likely be capable to MacGyver a way to achieve the overall desired outcome.
