Most of my modeling background has been enter-laced with fitness and runway shows. I like the energy and vibe with both. Some of the more intricate choreographed runway performances I've been in, allowed me to get into character, something I throughly love to do.
I've learned that it is not enough just to get booked for a job, but knowing the product you're selling. It is a HUGE deal. If the client believes you "own" the brand and your personality is cool, they're more likely to direct book you again. This is one of the reasons why I've done so well in this industry. If you don't believe in a product IT WILL show through in your work. Having the background of being in front of the camera, I've learned how important it is for the model to get booked as well as for the client to find the right model. Now that I'm a Casting Director with a major production company here in LA I know how important it is for models and actors to be respected and booked for their talent and personality.
