focusing on fine art and personal projects.
my new large format study i'm calling, "Can you see me?". i want to showcase a large group of portraits to tell a story of existent human attractiveness. aesthetic beauty is in every one of us. may it be emotional or physical. from a smile to a glare. even posture produces beauty. the subject can look at me, away from me, even past me. i want to viewer to see what is before them. all emotions tell a story and every human expression is beautiful to me. i want to produce a steady movement with implied individualism.
i like to shoot with an absolute freedom of creativity. tfp or tfcd is always acceptable. i appreciate interesting subjects with fresh and new ideas. i try to stray away from the same old, boring fashion poses that we see in every lame pop culture magazine. i'm currently shooting with a large format camera. it's a throwback to when photography was time consuming and not everyone's digital snapshot. i also work with a high-end digital camera and have a lot of photoshop experience. i want real individuals here. not the next supermodel wannabe. show me a creative person who loves art and i will make them a model. i'm not looking for a pretty girl eyeing a big paycheck. no flakes please.
i have fully portable lights and equipment and am always ready to shoot. i am interested in all sorts of photography. i shoot digital as well as film, so any inquiry is welcome. if you like what you see, please check out my website at
www.ericpoppphotography.com, send me a message of interest and we can get started. i'm looking forward to it.
thanks,
eric
