Tara Andrea appeared in her first national campaign at 3 and walked her first runway at 5. At the age of 16 Tara was discovered by an agent while on vacation with her family and began travelling internationally as a commercial print, fashion, and promotional model.
After several successful years in the industry Tara decided to take advantage of a full academic scholarship and pursue her post secondary education while continuing to model part-time. In 2006/2007 Tara completed her Interior Architecture and Design degree, and was subsequently beckoned back into the modeling world when she was named one of Guess Canada's "10 Female Faces to Watch". During that time Tara was in the running to be the new international face of Guess Watches and made several important contacts as a result. National and International bookings for Khols, Ceasars, Becel, Blistex, and the Toronto Blue Jays among others followed.
In 2008 Tara recieved the rare oppurtunity to blend her education with her entertainment industry experience when she was cast as the Designer on the second season of HGTV's Marriage Under Construction. Marriage Under Construction first aired nationally as HGTV's top rated show on Monday nights. Marriage Under Construction is now being broadcast internationally throughout the 2010 season.
