I am an amateur but serious photographer in Northern Virginia. For more than a quarter century I have been doing these arsty, geometric, anonymous, abstract B&W figures studies. I am so old, I still use film at times (but now limited to playing with antique printing). I show in galleries (now very rarely but still sell some stuff!) so in general I need a release. I do not shoot often but a couple times a year I am looking for models who like my work and would enjoy working with me on creative projects. I use female models almost exclusively. A good model is, of course, a pleasure to work with but don't worry if you have no experience, I will pose you down to the fingertips if need be. I sometimes pay modestly but find that most prefer to work in exchange for images. Not looking for any particular "type" but a little muscle tone and flexibility are nice, tanlines are bad. A little ink is OK but too much might be, well, too much unless you want to do a record of an entire ink project. In general, I am interested in anything that is beautiful, interesting, or fun. Also, you can't tell from my portfolio, but I CAN take pictures of people with their clothes on, so ask about that possibility. It has happened before and I can send you some examples.
Tech: I now shoot mostly digital these days except for special printing projects. Just got a very nice new camera, Woohoo! and still experimenting with it. I have a rather constrained studio space so there will be no swinging from chandeliers but for the abstract work I do, it works just fine.
I tend not to update the photos on this profile very often. For new images, check out the tumblr page above: http://analyticanatomy.tumblr.com/
Also, I have new work on Model Society:
I have some travel photos available at http://icyoh.tumblr.com/
(Just started the tumblr thing so not a lot there but some interesting images and I expect to update it regularly.)
