I am an artist based out of Boston MA, working primarily with video, cinema and photography.
I am interested in connecting with talented people who have similar interests and are willing to creatively pursue new and unrealized ideas. My goal is to slowly build a team and network of trustworthy people with artistic sense to work consistently together on multiple projects.
I am also a practicing filmmaker and video artist. My work tends to be research based and conceptually motivated by external anxiety of the human condition. As an artist I am most interested in the different forms in which 'communication' takes place amongst individuals. The perspective is often placed external to those within the composition and often depicts an intentional disconnect from the viewers vs. the subject, and so on. With that said, my work is always evolving, building on old ideas and re-interpreting them into new contextualized pieces of work.
This is a bit wordy which I apologize for, but simply put - I am attracted to minimal and brutalist aesthetics with an occasional dab into the uncomfort zone where I explore both overly personal and sexually charged portraits with an underlying tinge of sarcasm to the human condition. I approach this by attempting to reduce interactions and purposeful endeavors of my subjects into mere physical movements and gestures.
