Dana Ware, a native of Chicago, Illinois is CEO of Vogue 7. His unique, innovative and discriminating style of photography is quite evident in his diverse collection of work, which spans magazines, CD covers, annual reports, advertisements and brochures. Whether it’s a high fashion shoot or an executive portrait, Dana’s images capture human emotions, personalities, genuine moments and split second details. Also, for over three decades, he has been successfully mastering the art of phototherapy, a technique that uses affirmation coaching to image build. Thanks to his uplifting energy and calm demeanor, he is able to capture the true essence of the human spirit. So what makes Dana Ware unique as a photographer? It’s simply the fact that he is far more than just a photographer; he is an instructor, an image maker and a master in the areas of model development, lighting and training. Mr. Ware was a photographer for the General Foods Organization and Hidden Valley Ranch Food Products Division; the industrial photographer for U.S. Gypsum Annual Reports; fashion photographer and advisor for VCU University; and photographer for many Fortune 500 companies.Dana attributes his success to many experiences, mentors and training. He attended the top institution in the industry, the Winona International School of Photography and was the protégé of world renowned fashion photographer Nancy Brown. He has worked with many of the top agencies such as Ford, Elite and the A+ agency to name a few. Dana’s love for the arts has been instrumental in his development both as a photographer and as a person. He owned and operated the South Port Gallery in Chicago, Illinois and performed a dual role both as the gallery’s curator and photographer.
Dana opened his first studio in Richmond, Virginia that was tremendously successful.
Dana Ware has received many awards and recognition for his expertise including the Gordon Park’s Three Minute Film Award from the Chicago Public Library, the Best Photo Award from the Professional Photographers of America and the Avon Award.He is a member of the Professional Photographers of America, Chicago Historic Museum, Black History Museum in Virginia, a board member of the Gateway of Hope Mission, the Winter Garden Chamber of Commerce and the Thomas McClary Foundation. He also finds time to volunteer at the GHANA Mission and is a motivational speaker for local area high schools. Dana Ware is happily married to his partner in life and mission work, Dr. Linda Ware.
