I've worn a few hats in photography, but now I'm shooting mostly swim, tropical fashion and commercial-style travel. Noticing a theme? Swim and travel settings go hand in hand: sometimes exotic, often tropical, always relaxing.
When the sun's setting over the water, it's pretty easy to get in the zone --
The Look. Swim talent, to me, means having a great figure with curves, a fun, spunky personality, and a killer smile. Or sometimes its more of the smoldering eyes thing. Or the girl next door.
A model that brings all that helps me take the images up a few notches.
Favorite Beaches. I tend to shoot nearby in the SOUTHEAST. My favorite "mainland" beaches are Captiva and Lido Key in Sarasota. If in the Carolinas, my home beach is Wilmington, tho I venture south to Myrtle and Charleston alot. The most exotic island I've worked to date would have to be St.Barts. Next port of call may just be Little Exuma in the Bahamas -
