I have been interested in making pictures since I was a kid. When I was twenty years old I dropped out of collage, bought a camera and started teaching myself to make photographs. I started to get small photo jobs here and there. After a few years I had better gear and booked some jobs shooting weddings. I had quit my full time job and attempted to do photography work full time, but then my studio burned down with all my gear in it. the insurance on the building did not cover the gear and my gear was not separately insured. I have spent the past two years figuring out where to go from there. I now have a full time job that will give me the ability to start buying camera gear. I am joining this website in hopes of meeting people and getting back into photography.
