My most recent work can be seen on my blog: http://blog.lindsaydocherty.com
. I don't update my portfolio here very often.
I am a portrait photographer first and foremost. That being said, I hate the typical portraits, canned smiles or assembly line shots. I do 90% of my work on location, meaning parks, beaches, downtown, in old buildings, etc. I work mostly with natural lighting. My style is natural and genuine - not that you have to be it, you just have to look it. I'm not crazy about high fashion and don't have much use for bright purple eyeshadow or puffed up hair and a scowl. I'm not here for nudes either. If we shoot together and you want some for your portfolio, that's fine but I will not ask you for any nude work - it just doesn't interest me. (Boudoir occasionally.)
I like clean, contemporary lifestyle-like images.
I come here to experiment with new ideas or put up casting calls for professionally styled inspiration shoots. I will work with you on any ideas you might have or want to see in your portfolio.
I occasionally put out casting calls for TFCD work, otherwise my fee structure will be significantly less expensive than my normal portrait sessions. Contact me at lindsay [at] lindsaydocherty [dot] com for more information.
