*PLEASE note that I cannot work with models independently at this time because of the Covid-19 pandemic that has put not only this country, but all over the world is in quarantine. So it is important for Models to stay at home for health reasons. I will only get back to working with Models independently when the pandemic is over and everybody is safe and healthy. So to models and fellow photographers I wish you all to stay home and stay safe.

*From August 2020 and onward, I have recently and ONLY have been going to Photography Workshop Groups only because of financial reasons since COVID-19 is still present. Any photos of models I post up are recently at Workshops from August 2020 or models posing for me for independent shoots and photography workshops PRIOR to MARCH 2020. I'm unavailable to work with models for independent shoots at this time due to COVID-19. I will only get back to independent shoots with models when the pandemic is lifted, until then I will ONLY be photographing models at Group Photography Workshops at this time being.

******************** The Covid-19 Pandemic has lifted and everywhere is returning to normal. However the pandemic shutdown have lasted for two years, and everybody is dealing with the after effects from the pandemic, which also affects the businesses including the business of photographers and freelance models. I will continue to attend to Photography Workshops in NYC that offer photographing models, and I will work with models for independent shoots based on my schedule and the model's schedule. And as the photographer, I will wear a mask if the model ask me to during our independent shoot together, unless it's an outdoor photoshoot. Also I am fully vaccinated against Covid-19, as well as being boosted as well, that way I could help make the model feel safe and comfortable and healthy too.


I am Ade Amenechi of AK Amenechi Photography. I was born and raised in the Bronx, and I currently still live there. The type of photography I am into is photographing models for headshots and portraits whether they are nude, lingerie, swimsuit, and in dress. In 2016, I decided to learn everything I could about Nude Photography, and I did that by attending to Photography Workshops and doing independent photoshoots with freelancing female art models. However, because of the costs of living in NYC, I have to work various side jobs in order to receive money to attend to Photography Workshops, and to independently work with models for photoshoots. When I do nude photoshoots, I will have the money arranged first, then and ask the models if I can shoot at either their place or my place, and if we can arrange the time and date to meet.

For the models who do Nude Shoots, I won't ask models to do nude shoots in the outdoors especially in NYC where public nudity is illegal anyway, unless it's in the backyard or the rooftop of an apartment building, or shooting outdoors outside of NYC like the forest or a beach. I would shoot nude models in the indoors of their homes or my home depending on their schedule and mine and if they are in the NYC area since I live in NYC.

For the models who only shoot in swimwear and lingerie, I usually perfer to do outdoor photoshoots during the warm sunny weather from the months of May to September because the Summer season is the best time for models to be in the outdoors, like beaches and parks, and there are plenty of those in NYC. If it's from months October to April, we can do indoor shoots such as my home or your apartment.
