I have never modeled before but want to learn how for personal artistic expression. I am a cosplayer and I have a signature personal style of dress (retro/vintage), and I feel like I am missing a skill that I should have by not really knowing what I'm doing in front of a camera. I have some acting experience and in person can have a flair for the dramatic, so I feel like being able to project emotions and evoke reactions in photos is attainable for me...I just haven't had the specific instruction and practice to learn what to do.

A photographer friend suggested I sign up here as a reputable place to meet photographers, especially those who would be interested in working with a lady who runs more to the zaftig than the waifish. I am living in Temple but willing to drive a bit, Waco and Austin are certainly within reach.
