I own "Stephen Power Photography Studios" - a large, high-tech studio facility near Newcastle West, County Limerick, Ireland - and I'm senior lecturer with "Chalice Photography School", my own photography training business, which has 2 Fás accredited courses currently running.
I have over 25 years published experience as a photographer and specialize in editorial (newspapers and magazines), advertising, fashion, portrait and Fine Art photography.
I am a contributor to the prestigious photo agency Alamy.com and my recent (paying) clients have included rock stars, actors and professional models.
I won the 2007 Guru Award for Photoshop Excellence (in the Photography Section) at the Photoshop World event, in Boston, USA.
I am a member of several professional photography organizations including: The National Union of Journalists (NUJ); Editorial Photographers UK (EPUK) and The USA-based National Association of Photoshop Professionals (NAPP).
I work mainly on commission and I am available for model portfolio shoots. I can provide models with professional, high quality A3 printed portfolios and / or CD's at very reasonable rates.
My large studio, and teaching facility is available for hire to serious photographers.
