Zombified Studios

4 things about me that you should know:

1. I am a self-taught special effects makeup artist. 

2. If you want blood, then you have come to the right place.  Horror is what I grew up with, horror is what I do.

3. I have not done any straight/beauty makeup.  The models are all better at it than I am anyway.

4. I am not out to satisfy any prurient interest.  I am striving for realism in what I do.

I want people to question whether an effect was real or not.  If I apply a fresh autopsy incision to a model, that illusion would be ruined if the model were wearing a bikini top.

If a models mother were to see my work, I want that mother to burst into tears and scream "Why God... Why... Why would somebody do this to my baby...?"

I am not a photographer.  I do have a point and shoot camera that has served me well so far.  So, I will take the pictures if I need to - but I'd prefer a real photographer do the heavy lifing.

I have been working on film projects for about the last 5 or 6 months.  But once the snow starts flying, filming will slow down.  Then it is Game-On for some of the photo projects that I have planned.

There are a few things I've never done that I want to try, but I need a model who would be willing to let me fail miserably while i figure out the technique:

   *Fantasy makeup (think "pans Labrynth")
    *Character makeup
    *Full facial/body prosthetics
    *Life Casting
