I may call Los Angeles home, but it would be easy to think differently. Based on my photographs, I live miles away from the stereotypical clichés of Hollywood, in a land where celebrities and unknowns intermingle and forgotten objects are valued as fine art. My observations are honest and show life for what it is, with no exaggerations or fabrications. This sincerity saturates both my personal and commercial work and has gained me the trust of a wide range of clients.
Growing up around photography helped shape my way of seeing the world. I've been a photographer for over 10 years and continually push myself to make pictures and tell stories that I feel are meaningful. In the last few years I’ve moved away from commercial assignments photographing celebrities and musicians (which you can see more of on my website) so that I can dedicate my time to personal work. In doing so, my focus narrowed to making documentary, environmental and portrait photographs.
Through Model Mayhem, it’s portraits that I’m looking to expand upon. I’m especially interested in collaborations. The best ideas come from people working together.
Check out my BLOG, which can be found via my website to see what I've been up to.
