Modeling was my way of building confidence. When faced with adversities like low self-esteem, I have risen to the occasion and overcome them. I'm focused on growth consistently, but to temper my constant willingness to challenge myself I have a keen and mischievous sense of humor, something that has maintained balance in my life through the ups and downs.
Here's a summary of skills that strengthen my readiness as a model:
I spent five years as a theater protegé, performing and understanding my body and how to become a character.
I'm somewhat experienced as a photographer. Having worked with models, studio lighting, outdoor, and portrait, I understand 'the other side of the camera'. Additionally, I have experience with photo editing and posess an artistic eye for composition, separation of elements, skin-tone color correction, shape, angle, lighting, color theory, negative space, etc.
I draw and do graphic art.
For ten years I have written and performed my own music as a singer and keyboardist. Skills include accompaniment, soloist, collaboration, rock bands, rnb, jazz, pop.
I have enough makeup experience to touch up if needed, and have gotten creative with it before.
Finally, I take my self-care seriously. My life has been a healing journey and the first thing I ask myself when I wake up is "what can I do to feel my best today?". It's my philosophy that when you feel good, you look good.
