Hi and thanks for visiting my port.
   
In my work I've gathered inspiration from the photographers - both contemporary and from the past - that I admire, and whose art I've collected: Arthur Tress, Greg Gorman, John Dugdale, Lewis Payton, Tom Bianchi, Sid Avery, Anderson & Low, Doug Prince, Marc Yankus, Brian Riley, George Dureau, and August Sander.

Since I became a full-time photographer myself and joined ModelMayhem, I've come to know and be inspired by the work of a whole new cadre of photographers, especially:

I can only hope to approach the talent of these artists, but I do share their aesthetic approach to photography: 1) Naturalism: the use of natural light as much as possible, natural settings (or at least minimal backdrops and props and no  hyper-theatricality), and the avoidance of over-manipulation of the product; 2) Appreciation for the unique beauty of the human male; and 3) An approach to photo art that aims to preserve the humanity contained within all of those millions of pixels.
