My primary job is working as a visual effects artist on films. Because of this, working with models and photographers is limited to my limited free limited time. In other words, it's limited. (see credits below if you're interested)
I'm an artist. I'm NOT primarily a photographer (though it's often used to create my work).
First and foremost, I'm a fine artist (drawing, painting). My work tends to be impressionistic moving toward realism.
I'm also a digital artist: I both paint digitally and manipulate photo and other digital media.
About the author: Now look here, see, I'm a sarcastic guy who likes strong-willed folk. So don't be surprised if I make an off-colour joke or jab you in the ribs just to see if you can take it: I think we should all be able to take a tease or a real constructive critique. I can dish it and I can take it.
I believe that the input of the model (both in the creative process and design) is
essential and without question makes for the best art. My passion, even above the work itself, is in collaboration with other artists/models in the process.
Models/artists I work with receive CD or DVD file copies of select photographs as well as scans of finished artwork they participated in creating. Prints of artwork and/or selected photography can be supplied by me on archival high-quality paper.
Please contact me if you're interested in working together.
I have bachelors degrees in fine art as well as animation.
I'm currently working on a feature film as the Visual Effects Supervisor and lead artist. My credits can be found on imdb.com under "Michael Pawlak".
And because I believe that the more you know about a person, the more comfortable you will feel working together:

Oh here I am for those who want to know how creepy I am (I refuse to use slick photography for this, I prefer stupid).
