Hey!
I am so excited about my upcoming exhibition, I want you all to come!
yes ALL of the entire model mayhem worldwide crew!
The show runs from 8-19th December is Sydney.
here is the official info.
Photographer Hamish Ta-mé has been working with internationally ranked hiphop dancers and tricksters to explore power, ecstasy and mortality in a new exhibition which opens in December.
The exhibition is titled “la petite mort” (a little death) which is a French phrase describing the melancholy after physical ecstacy.
Hamish, who has a Masters degree in photomedia, lectures at the Australian Centre for Photography and is also a top ranked fashion photographer has built a special lighting rig that allows him to shoot bursts of 40 still frames in 4 seconds as the dancers move across the frame.
These images are then composited into large format prints and video works.
Depot Gallery viewing times: Tuesday to Saturday 11am to 6pm & Sunday 10.30 am to 3.30pm
In conjunction with the exhibition, Hamish will also be hosting a series of free talks and discussions around the show.

My normal profile stuff.
Hey. I am a Sydney based commercial photographer.
I shoot for magazines, designers as well as advertising agencies and graphic design companies.
I have been shooting fashion for a while now. I always enjoy working with a team and creating something bigger and better than one persons individual vision.
My profile for fashion work has been growing without me even realising it...I was totally surprised to be ranked no.8 in Australia for fashion photography in 2008 / 2009!
I also work with individual models on their portfolios. I love working with new faces and although I do charge for this I always try and keep it reasonable.
I am based from the largest daylight studio in Sydney, it is in Zetland, which is near Redfern / Moore Park.
I am always open to discussing ideas for shoots from stylists, designers and models.
Mostly photographers seem to drive the ideas, it is pleasure when someone comes to me with an idea. (This is called "testing" which on this website seems to be called TFP, in other words we all work on a cool idea for the pics for our portfolios)
I don't always check this site, so if you want to drop me an email, send it to booker @doofdoofdoof.com or you can just call me. 0428294569
Cheers!
