Miguel Angel Gaytan, who also goes by Michael Angel, is a twenty-four year old, aspiring photographer who is greatly influenced by the work of two of the world’s most talented photographers, David Lachapelle & Patrick Demarchelier.
Photography became Michael’s passion soon after the art-form was introduced to him during his college years while attending Arizona Western College where his work caught the eye of his professors, he began to photograph agency models where his work started being shown in galleries in Phoenix & Los Angeles.
He believes that photographs can be captured in many ways and expressions, but the best ones are the ones we create ourselves — memories of such great beauty that will never fade away.
Over the last seven years he has learned a lot about various types of photography including commercial, glamour, high fashion, and beauty. For most of his adolescent years he lived in a small town in Arizona.
He moved to New York City in Fall of 2010 where he resides at now. He plans on attending The School of Visual Arts and getting his masters in photography.
