Sapphire Moon Dance

Angela M Gallo is choreographer and founder of Sapphire Moon Dance Company. Angela received a BFA in Theatre and Dance from Central Connecticut State University and a MFA in Dance Performance and Choreography from the University of Michigan.  After graduate school, she returned to NYC to continue the development of her company and to continue training with David Dorfman, Doug Varone, and Ron K. Brown, among others.
Angela, has performed at such places as Dance Theatre Workshop, the Dancenow Downtown Festival,  WIlliamsburg Arts Nexus (WAX), Fielday, Brooklyn Arts Exchange, Dance Space Center’s 20th Anniversary Gala in 2004, The Bridge for Dance and The Atrium Theatre and other locations in the NYC/ Tri-state(NY, NJ, CT) area, as well as the Fringe Festival of Independent Artists in Toronto, Canada, at New England Theatre conferences, the Sumter Opera House (SC) and at South Carolina Dance Association events.
She has danced extensively with AmDAT: Dance Art Technology (NY), and United Rhythm Company (CT). She has worked on smaller projects with Ballet Preljocaj (France), the Power Company (SC) and Eisenhower Dance Ensemble (MI). She has performed in musicals with Workshop Theatre and Town Theatre( SC) and choreographed works for the Columbia Classical Ballet Company (SC).
