I don't check this account often enough, so if you message me and I don't reply, that's why. If you really need to get a hold of me please contact me via here -
http://contact.grendelsden.net.
The opportunities for me to photograph have become limited due to my busy work schedule. Operating your own business will do that. But that does not mean I do not want to know new models for future projects. So please by all means let me know if you are interested in working with me by filling out my online form, which you can find here -
http://contact.grendelsden.net. All forms are filed and kept indefinitely.
It is also important to know that I am not a traditional photographer. I am foremost a digital artist that uses photography as a means to an end. So with that in mind please understand that my work takes time to develop.
I am always looking for models both male and female for various projects. Themes range from the following:
Horror
Gothic
Lovecraftian
Steampunk
Dark Fantasy
My not so short bio:
---------------------------------------------
D.E. Christman is an artist that simply wants to scare the hell out of you. And he takes great pleasure in doing so. He has been creating his darkened images for as long as he can remember. Monsters, goblins, spirits and other things that go "bump" in the night have always filled his imagination. His Lovecraftian inspired work has been described as "Twisted, demented and wonderfully creepy", a description he takes great pride in.
Throughout his lifetime D.E. Christman has pursued a long list of artistic endeavors, striving to learn all he can from each and every one. Taking from each discipline what best suited him and his creativity he built a unique style that is definitively his. Today he works exclusively in the Digital Media melding photography, archived textures and digital painting techniques to create striking and haunting images.
He makes his living through his company Grendel's Den Design Studio [
www.grendelsden.net ], producing art and design for print and web. Grendel's Den came to life on December 12th, 2000 originally as a place to showcase his artwork. At its inception he had no idea that in just a short time the site would become the full-fledged design studio it is today.
