About Me

********************************************************************************************

I am currently seeking models of all skill levels for life drawing/reference photo sessions. Working with me is great because, aside from being extremely easy to work with, guaranteeing financial reimbursement and creating quality images for our portfolios, I have the most important tool of collaboration: a sense of humor.  *****Instead of just a friend request, write me a message if you want to collaborate.*****

I am not interested in any form of sexual imagery (fetish, bondage, erotica, leg spreads, pink shots, shibari, porn, etc.) or images of come-hither eye contact. My portfolio shows the kind imagery I seek to create.

If you are interested in becoming art, send me your rates, current location, schedule, your personal limitations/rules, and anything else you think I might need to know. Have a lovely day!

WHO AM I?
I am a 31-year-old non-professional yet highly passionate, mostly self-taught, and sometimes enormously ambitious artist and aspiring novelist based in Snohomish, Washington.

HOW LONG HAVE I BEEN DRAWING?
I have been drawing my whole life, but have only focused on the figure for three years.

WHAT ARE MY WORKING METHODS?
I create graphite pencil/charcoal drawings of the female form and occasionally write poetry that comes to me as I draw. I work primarily from photo references, though I absolutely love collaborating with models whenever I can (it's way more fun, and models always have great stories). One day I'd love to have a three-part collaboration between myself, a photographer and a model: three art forms joining forces to make something incredible.

WHAT ARE MY ARTISTIC GOALS?
My goal with my art is very simple: I seek to create beauty out of beauty. To me, there is nothing on this earth more beautiful, more lovely or more artistically inspiring than a woman, and I want to make art that communicates how much I love, cherish and adore women in all their mystery, glory and wonder (normally I'd express it in words, but, as I learned a long time ago, art expresses what words can't).

WHAT ELSE DO I HAVE TO SAY?
That about sums it up. To all my fellow artists in the meantime, keep learning, keep creating, keep loving and keep making this world a better place with your creations.
