BODY OF SUBSTANCE is an editorial photography studio dedicated to human form and figure.It is based in Manhattan,New York.We specialize in edgy fashion, lingerie,swim,Art. Placement will be in a range of publications based in the United states and Europe.
The candidates we seek to work with should possess an openness to a variety of disciplines from edgy editorial to art.Copies of all work product will be given to the model.Shooting will be performed in the following formats:Analog,Digital(black and white-film and color-film and pro digital).Pro hair/Make-Up is a component of our organized work effort.A variety of shooting venues and interiors are also accessible to us.
We are looking for models for a range of different publications. Maxim,King and Smooth are just a few of these publications.Yes,we have placed talent with these publications before.We will be holding test shoots for selected models.We seek models with real forms and figures as long as they are fit-looking(voluptuous is fine,plus sizes,11 and up,need not apply for these assignments).
The bodies should be height/weight\proportionate.Stomachs should be fit-looking.Nicely formed legs a plus.Professional actresses,dancers should feel free to apply for the testing as well. The testing is un-paid,the print assignments will be paying jobs and/or generate tear sheets.Contact us immediately here at MM
For models who are looking for a specific concept or theme shoot of their desire,we provide a service for this as well.Pro hair/Make-Up are included,wardrobe is an additional cost.Locations and interiors will be included.Digital and /or film as well.All work produced in disk(CD)format.The cost to the model for all of this is $500 dollars.We can also produce a pro video”Making of the Shoot” with titles,captioning,sound and scoring in DVD format for slightly more(inquire for
rates).Good,sound imagery need not be overly expensive.
