About me
So, as you might have guessed I'm a photographer. It's not my day job but sometimes helps me pay the rent or at least tip my bartender. Right now I'm trying to learn as much as I can, I've been in school for years because I keep taking art classes and neglecting the core. I should be done by the end of the year barring any major crisis. Right now though I'm kind of stuck in a multifaceted bubble of chaos with little relief in sight. Not that I'm really complaining but I'm just trying to explain why, if you've sent me a message or what to do a shoot, it might take some time. My free time is a bit limited.

I am in love with photography though and if you like my photographs I love you too, so drop me a line. If you want to take some pictures with me or would like to pose for some I am usually available with a bit of advanced notice. If you would like to pay me to take pictures I would be most thrilled but it is certainly not necessary. Most of what I do is for free or done in trade for a sixer of something cold.

If you're wondering what I look like this is me, during a snowstorm.

My style of photography is a little strange and I always have a difficult time explaining it to people. It involves lots of pictures, some scissors, rubber cement, an alcoholic beverage, and lots of patience. I'm still not sure what to call it, I had a professor who described it as a post modern take on modernism. It's a bit of a mix between photo-collage and photo-mozaic. I tend to refer to it as macro-pointillism, because it's one big picture made out of small pieces but, instead of being made out of tiny dots like the traditional kind of pointillism, it's made out of smaller pictures, hence the "macro". It's usually easier just to show people.

I do some landscapes too but seeing as how this is a modeling site I will just post this one.

Living in Colorado, beautiful landscapes are a dime a dozen and perhaps I've been desensitized. Usually I take pictures of people and I've been told I have a knack for it. Still, if there's one thing that can make a good portrait great, it's a scenic backdrop.

I've always worked primarily in black and white due to the relative inexpense. Recently I've gone digital which means mostly color. Although it feels like Dylan going electric, it can't be helped. It's all about keeping the cost down. Even so, my heart will always be monochrome.

"I feel like C.C. Baxter in Wilder's 'Apartment',
That particular arrangement just came out of the blue
And who was it who sang 'I know that you love one
So why can't you love two?'
I was in full-time education when I got scared of the future
And I've only got a job so I don't disappoint my mother
It's like I've painted myself into a social corner
Well, that's what happens when you listen to
Saint Scott Walker
On headphones
On the bus.
What about us? What about us?
My friends come round and they ask me 'What about us?'
You know that I, I don't kid myself about happy endings
I'm too old for all that now
But you don't have to worry that much about the future
And it's not as if you ever did before
Because you'll always have everything just as you want it
And there'll always be a phone to ring at three in the morning
And you'll always have someone who'll drive you home
Yes, you'll always have someone.
Someone to drive you home."

Anyway, I joined this site because it's always hard to find good models and models always need to find good photographers. My work is about the exposure of novelty in common things, I try to help people see in a new way with a slightly skewed perspective. I live by the philosophy that if I take pictures constantly at least one, by skill or by accident, will turn out perfect.

Hi,
I’m looking for other photographers that might want to combine some resources. I’m closing down my studio this month but would love to find a way that a few different photographers could share a location near or in Fort Collins. Most of my paying jobs are either kid shots or family shoots and some weddings, I also enjoy doing model shoot and more artistic shots. I have built up a decent collection of props and other studio items, along with strobes and backgrounds. If this might be something you would be interested please let me know. Thank you, for your time.
